I used to order Croakies glasses retainers until they started making my favorite model in China. I still had a couple of other Croakies that had a thick rubber band to grasp the glasses frames, but eventually the rubber bands on both of those broke. I started using the North Creek Paracord retainers several months ago and to my surprise, they actually have a better grip on my frames than the rubber bands that were on the Croakies. But not only does the paracord have an excellent grip on my plastic frames, the metal push-button cord lock for tightening the retainers around my head is much easier to use than the plastic thing that the Croakies had. For high quality, American made retainers like these, they are a steal at this price.
